Who We Are
Hexnut is a graphic and web design studio located in northern New Jersey, committed to serving its clients with CSS-based site designs built to meet W3C standards.
The company was founded by designer Jake Lazaroff in early 2008. He is the owner, and remains the sole employee.
What We Do
We specialize in providing these services:
- Website design - Whether you want a personal blog or a site for your company, Hexnut can help you in establishing a presence on the Internet.
- CSS redesign - Tables are sooo ten years ago. We’d love to help you move your existing table-based layout over to a standards-compliant CSS-based one.
How We Do It
We strive to create websites that are:
- Simple - Nowhere does the KISS (“Keep It Simple, Stupid!”) philosophy apply more than web design. We take this maxim to heart in designing interfaces, focusing on simplicity and usability in order to create an intuitive experience for our clients and their customers.
- Attractive - The goal of every designer is to create an attractive product. At Hexnut we are committed to making our designs as elegant as possible without sacrificing usability. By following the philosophy that “form follows function,” we create attractive imagery that complements an interface rather than distracts from it.
- Accessible - At Hexnut we focus on creating websites that are easy to use by everyone. We design with flexibility and scalability in mind, and deliver websites compatible with all modern browsers. All our designs conform to the latest (X)HTML and CSS standards as recommended by the W3C.
